Closed type batteries that do not require the addition of acid or water, i.e. do not require maintenance, are called maintenance-free dry batteries.
It is also known as VRLA Battery (Valve Regulated Lead Acid). It is divided into two groups according to its internal structure and technology. (AGM) dry battery and Gel battery.
The most important feature of such batteries is that they never leak water and acid. Gas output is also minimal. They are much more resistant to vibrations, shaking and impacts than normal batteries. Dry batteries and Gel Batteries are two different types of batteries used for storage and power generation. Both types consist of cells used to store electrical energy. However, their working principles and usage areas are different.
DRY BATTERY USAGE AREAS :
Gel battery is a type of battery that contains electrolyte in gel consistency. Gel batteries, especially used in renewable energy systems, can be returned from deep discharge even when they are not charged immediately.
Deep Cycle Gel battery is a type of dry batteries and the electrolytes it contains are in gel consistency. The acid in these batteries has a gel density. This density increases the discharge and vibration tolerance of the battery considerably. Gel batteries containing gelled acid are in the valve regulated, maintenance-free lead acid battery group. Due to the liquid and calcium alloys of gel batteries, they have very low discharge rates during periods when they are not operated. Gel batteries do not require liquid level control or water addition. Gel batteries work on the principle of O2 recombination, in which the elements that enter the gas phase are then condensed and involved in the chemical reaction. Therefore, gel batteries have a special valve system that opens only at high pressure for safety reasons and this system prevents gases from escaping from the battery and minimizes water loss.
Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) are an electronic device that protects electrical devices called critical loads from disruptions in the electrical system.
Online Uninterruptible Power Supplies use this energy to charge the batteries inside the devices if there is mains electricity, and in the meantime, it generates electricity itself and continues to generate electricity from the battery when the electricity is cut off, providing continuous and uninterrupted electricity to critical loads.
Power Supplies are divided into 3. Off Line Ups
Off line UPS is able to supply the network directly to the load under normal operating conditions. In the event of a power failure, the UPS is activated and the power failure is felt by the device used, even for a short time. Off Line type UPSs are usually produced in small powers. Because in case of power failure in the network, problems may occur during the UPS transferring the load to the battery group.
Line Interactive Ups
In line interactive UPSs, the inverter is inactive when the mains is present and the part regulating the mains voltage and the battery charging unit are active in this case. The battery pack and inverter are activated when the mains power is cut off and supply the current load through the batteries. Automatic voltage regulation keeps the mains electricity constantly at the required value (220V - 50Hz) Line Interactive UPSs are especially known as voltage regulated UPSs in the market.
Online Ups
Online Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) continuously feed the load through its own system, with or without power on the grid. As long as there is energy in the grid, both the batteries are charged and the load is fed. In case of interruption in the grid, it transfers the energy it receives from the battery to the load. Whether the load is fed from the mains or from the battery during such feeding does not change the UPS output voltage quality and continuity. It is the newest technology and the most preferred and recommended power supply model.
In Uninterruptible Power Supplies, the battery duration is determined according to the amount of load and how much feeding time is required from the battery. In addition, Uninterruptible Power Supplies must also have the power to charge the batteries to be selected. For example, if there is a group of 30x65 Ah batteries, the Power supply must be min. 6.5A charging card is required. If there is a smaller charging card, the charging time of the batteries will be longer.
Solar energy is the conversion of the sun's rays into electrical energy using very special technology. Solar energy is the cleanest energy in the world. It does not pollute the environment and is noiseless. Solar energy systems are renewable and sustainable energy.
Working Principle of Solar Energy Systems: The sun's rays are much more than just a source of light during the day. Every particle of sunlight (photons) that reaches our Earth contains the energy that fuels our planet. Solar panels convert solar energy into usable electricity through a process called the photovoltaic effect. Through solar panels, solar energy is converted into electricity.
Is Your Business or Home Suitable for Using Solar Energy? Various factors determine whether it will be efficient to install solar panels on your business or home. The most important of these is how much sunlight your workplace / home receives. The current electricity consumption of your home or business, whether your roof and land are suitable for installing solar panels is important. While installation can be easy on the roofs and terrains of some facilities / houses, the installation of solar panels can become difficult on steeply sloping roofs and terrains. It would be more appropriate to make a decision in line with the report prepared after the discovery and controls of an expert team.
What is a Generator? Machines that convert mechanical energy into electrical energy, consisting of alternator and engine, are called generators. Generators are widely used in all large and small enterprises. Generally; It is used in markets, large shopping centers, production sites and workshops.
Determining the Power Needed: Our company primarily determines the location and power to meet the needs of the projects in the most efficient way. Before the generator selection, the correct power requirement is determined with the pre-discovery study carried out with our expert team and the most accurate product is offered for the generator that will provide maximum benefit.
Activation of Generators: When the power is cut off or the voltage goes out of the specified values, the system (Control Card) automatically starts the generator by detecting that the power is cut off or out of limit. This period is max. between 8-10 seconds. If the energy is restored or returns to normal limits, after the automatic monitoring period (after making sure that the voltage is healthy), the control card automatically transfers the load from the generator to the grid. After that, it runs idle for 3 minutes, cools itself down and goes into standby mode.
Noise Level of Generators : Generator sets produce noise from exhaust, engine body, fans. Extra quiet cabins can be selected according to the installation location. Isolation cabins are available for this. Isolation cabinets provide maximum sound control. You can get detailed information from our sales consultants.
